Connor Loewen

Registered Physiotherapist

MPT

Connor has loved competitive sport and exercise his entire life and decided to build a career around his lifestyle through the practice of physiotherapy. Connor’s educational journey began at UBC Okanagan with a bachelor in Human Kinetics, followed by his Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC in Vancouver. Focusing on education specific to his patient’s injuries and tailored planning for rehabilitation, Connor brings an array of tools to his practice that is patient-centered. Connor has spent the last few years working in both private and public health with an array of populations and age groups; this has reinforced his belief that in order for patients to function at their best, they need to genuinely enjoy the exercises and treatments prescribed.

Volleyball has always been a passion of Connor’s and he was able to play two years locally for the UBCO Heat. Connor continues to be engaged in the volleyball community by assisting with coaching in Kelowna and playing in various competitive leagues.

Connor has supplementary training in:

  • Joint replacement recovery

  • Pre and post-operative rehabilitation

  • Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation

  • Shockwave therapy

  • Concussion rehabilitation

When Connor is not in the clinic, you can find him playing volleyball at City Park, cycling around Kelowna with his beautiful wife Vanessa, training at the gym, camping around BC, and travelling the world.
